Ever since she was 6 months old we took her to the baby swimming at Nautipolis. We tried to go there regularly so she would get used to water and this year she would have fun in the sea.
This region can be very busy during summer. Tourists start to arrive around the Cannes Festival and life never stops until September. For every weekend there is a festival you can visit, but to be more accurate there are many festivals running at the same time. Sometimes it's hard to decide which ones to visit.
We've passed by Chateauneuf numerous times when heading to Gourdon but never stopped. So now, when we only went up to the Gokart court we had enough time to walk around and explore the village.
We've never done the tour around Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and decided that after a challenging hike to Gourdon we needed something nice and relaxing. But do not think for a second that for us it would be a day on a beach or staying home. For us nice and relaxing is a 16 km long walk around a picturesque peninsula with a costal path and nice beaches. We took an early train to Beaulieu-Sur-Mer. Ever since Pixie learned walking even an easy train ride can be challenging, she refuses to sit and it takes both of us and a lot of energy to entertain her.
Mummy Sherpa was born when I realised that during the time Pixie is sleeping on me, yes still on me, I can use the time to do something productive. And why not a blog.
