We went on a few holidays recently. You could already read some about our trip to Vietnam, more to follow. And we took another trip to visit our family.
My advice would be to pack light!
Ok, so there are so many blog post about what to take with you on a long haul flight. If you read a few you are already well prepared.
just don’t forget, sometimes kids are easy and sometimes not. Even if you are well prepared they can get bored after ten minutes. And if you don’t bring anything on the plane to entertain them they still can find plenty of exciting stuff on a plane. Just keep in mind, you’ll have to carry your luggage, and sometimes the kids as well, pack light!
Flying long haul with kids is never easy, but surviving the flight itself is not the only difficulty.
This is not a true baby product, but it saved us a lot’s of washing and made our life easier!
We wanted to travel somewhere far away! Paying for 3 full price flight tickets is not cheap, don’t want to wait until we have to pay for Manny as well.
This is just a shout out to those mums who think it will never end.
We used to take Pixie swimming almost every week until Manny was born. She loved the water, playing and had so much fun! I was looking forward to taking Manny for his first swim, and it turned out great!
Even a usual day has so many challenges with two kids. I didn’t set high expectations for Christmas, I wished for a quiet, intimate day with just the 4 of us.
We’ve been going to a playgroup twice a week with Pixie and Manny. It’s the perfect setup for me, singing, playtime, arts and crafts for the bigger kids, snacks to keep the kids’ energy up and coffee for the mums.
